BUSY SUMMER

I suppose the TV programme has something to do with it, as well as the good weather , the fact we are the only exclusively gay mens hotel in Bournemouth and - probably - on the south coast, we have been here for 10 years and have a lot of regulars and this web site is doing so well on google ratings, as we have had a really good summer so far and packed houses almost all the way through since June. It's been a really good summer season.

So we have some more double glazing going into another 4 rooms and this now only leaves me with 2 rooms or 3 windows yet to do, and considering the size of the place... is not bad going. Some years ago I had a quote for the whole place to be done and I just laughed when the guy told me how much as there was absolutely NO WAY - and with the price of gas and electricity on average going up 43% in the last 18 months, it has become a necessity - that and the fact that some of the window frames were rather old and rotten... and with VAT going up in January and as I met a gay guy locally who has become a friend who does double glazing ( oh how useful...) he has been busy with us ... ha ha

The gardens were also re decked and sorted and more space made available for guests by taking out some old and tatty bushes and decking the area... every little helps when you don't have a lot... ( something I have never said before... brag brag )

It is really never dull around here and living the lifestyle we lead is often a fantasy to many as after all, who wouldn't want to own and run a gay mens clothing optional hotel and mix with so many stunning guys all year... have sex every day with someone new, lounge about in the garden all day getting sun, enjoiy a dinner party every night with new and fun people, and generally have fun...
NOW FOR THE FACTS:

We do get stunning guys here and I enjoy every single person who visits regardless of age and size and anything, as I believe everyone to be worthy. SEX: ha ha ... not had sex in ages and in fact, in the last couple of years - er maybe even 5 years - I doubt I have had as many sex partners as I had as an escort on an average single day... so not very good huh... I think there have been 2 this whole summer... and then, very few people are brave enough to 'take me on' and tend to expect me to do all the bloody work - and who the hell has the energy these days for sex... after a15 - 18 hour day - 7 days a week, who has time and energy for sex... I fall asleep as soon as I sit and watch the news, let alone as soon as my head hits the pillow. ( sad old thing...)
I have sat in the garden and got sun ONCE this year - for an hour. I do walk Missy ( the dog ) every afternoon for an hour and visit some truly lovely places together as Bournemouth really is the garden town and full of the most delightful places to visit and all within 5 minutes drive from here ( want to join me any day around 1pm ? ?) and with the late nights and early mornings every day, we really appreciate it when we do have a quiet spell or a single morning when there is either no one in or guests have told us they will not be down early for breakfast, and oooo you do so enjoy a lay in... but it doesn't happen often...

But I love it. I don't miss the sex and I thoroughly enjoy the work and am delighted in every moment and Hamilton Hall is hugely respected and valued by so many and that alone thrills me. That we can help create an 'urban oasis' for so many - a refuge - a tranquil space to re charge and a place to make friends and feel safe in, is a delight.

Even Hamilton Hall herself loves us here. I talk to the house and garden all the time ( batty old witch ) and her aura is so inviting and is mentioned so often as soon as people walk through the front door.

Since the TV programme we were in, some of the neighbours have stopped and talked, people I have not even seen before as I am in a lot, and they ave said how much they loved the programme and I show them around the rooms and they have always been delightful and delighted and it is good to know some people locally. As an scort in London I knew few neighbours as I didn't want them asking questions and my privacy was because of my business and Ham Hall was much the same for many years, but since 'outing my venue' on national and international TV - masses of people who would never know we were a gay mens venue, now do, and seem to absolutely love it.

Kristian or as we call him here - Dobby - ( who is Harry Potters house elf / slave ) has been amazing as well. he works so well and so long and never complains or even takes a day off and is my right hand man ( ooo maybe not my right hand man... I think he would cringe at the thought of doing that... ha ha even though I do remind him that there are many who use to pay to be my 'right hand'... ha ha - if you get the gist...) and he works and entertyains and laughs and is marvelous, truly a God send.

We have the rest of August to go as it's only the 7th today - and knowing how fast it goes - and then its' September and then October and the nights will start drawing in and it'll be getting darker earlier and earlier and we shall be shutting ourselves away in the warm and wearing extra layers and complaining about the c-c-cold... and we must remember this lovely summer, these long fun filled days and take them into the winter with us to keep us warm on the inside and smiling on the outside....
