Calling all Bed & Breakfast owners
 
·       Do you think you have a great B&B?

We would like to talk to passionate and out-going Bed and Breakfast
owners for a potential new series of Channel Four’s
much anticipated 'Three in a Bed.'
 
We are looking for B&B owners who feel they have something special
to offer their customers - and are willing to put their businesses to the test. 
We’re looking for a wide range of B&Bs, but they’ll all be run
by proud B&B owners.

We have stayed with you a couple of times last year - . Friends sent out a copy of the Three in a bed programme. Congratulations on the way you presented Hamilton Hall and your restraint. Dear John:  You seem to be on  my TV more than anything else,  as since the programme 3 IN A BED aired, I have shown it to dozens of friends who have come round specially to see it,   as they had all heard about the gay venue being shown on the TV and when they heard I knew you,  hell,  my social life went right up...  I always  laugh and always cheer you on and as for that asshole Andrew, well what can I say, I bet he cringes at the thought of what he did and what he said. bet his business suffers now.  Well done John. Out of over 1,000 e mails concerning our appearance on the programme  - this is the only negative one - and I think his mental state is clear for anyone to feel.  I have attached his e mail address - should you wish to share your thought with him directly on his comments.

I just wanted to say that, as a gay man, I find you and your establishment nothing more than a load of pretentious twaddle. I would not stay in your naff and unsophisticated b&b if you paid me. You think YOU are right and everyone else is wong. But the truth is that YOU are t! he one who needs serious therapy and has read human nature incorrectly. You are such a misfit; such an obnoxious and arrogant freak of nature; but you think you have got it so right and everyone who disagrees with you is wrong. You are part of a very small minority but think the majority should agree with your warped and sex obssessed ideas. Have you heard of humility? It is something that most people ultimately find attractive - you are devoid of it. I watched the programme on channel 4 and both my partner and myself found you nothing more than a naff, old, archetypal,has been loser. You are out of touch with mankind my friend and live in your own little crazy world, which has nothing to do with reality. It is sad that you are SO insecure, you feel you have to limit your hosting to 'gay' and 'bisexual' men. Is that because you think you might meet a good screw? You are truly sad and need serious help to adjust your mind to a more balanced level. Try living in the real world and s! top being such an obnoxious, unattractive twat. You give gay men a bad name and your filthy, nasty, dated b&b could do with a good makeover.

'Naturally, I ignore e mails like this one and concentrate on those more worthy.
Louise Hayes says that the people who throw the most amount of abuse at the gay community- comes from within the gay community, and as this guys has shown,  it saddens me that this man is so caught up in so many negative and self destructive thought pattens.  I'd offer him a free weekend if I didn't think he would spoil it for my other guests.'

Then the next one I read - like so many - is this lovely one below:-

Many apologies for what I'm sure will be YET another e-mail filling up your in box, but I felt so moved by your appearance on 3 in a bed, that I just had to contact you!   Mainly, I just wanted to thank you, thank you, thank you......The way you utterly shot down that VILE narrow minded, pitiful excuse for a man Andrew, was without a doubt a triumph! 
I am a very proud Wiccan and I was utterly disgusted by the fact he profits, (and ohhh does he profit), from running a B&B on sacred soil, when he clearly has absolutely no idea, spirit or connection with the land or respect for the Goddess and Gods who suffer him to gain from it! Grrrrrr... what an arrogant half witted ignorant person.....but I suppose he deserves pity if nothing else, how blind he must be to love and lust, joy and laughter.....
And breathe....lol sorry, echo's of watching the show this afternoon and shouting at the tv so much my husband was in total hysterics!!!...Oh and making up some cracking new swear words too lol!
But back to positivity....You are an inspiration, a blessing for all those lives you touch, funny and witty and as shown to great effect, kind, balanced, honorable and dignified. Please, please, please continue on your chosen path, there are far too few people in the world like you.  I wish you every and all success and happiness with Hamilton Hall and with all the paths of your future - So mote it be -
